Re-Thinking

Re-Thinking

What if we’ve been looking at this the wrong way?

Re-Thinking is a way of questioning assumptions to find better, more practical solutions — not disruption for its own sake, just fresh eyes on familiar problems.

What is Re-Thinking?

Questioning assumptions to find better ways.

I’m fascinated by the way people interact with information. Every so often I find myself asking a simple question: ‘What if we’ve been looking at this the wrong way?’ Sometimes that produces a new product. Sometimes a better user interface. Sometimes a completely different way of visualising information. It isn’t about disruption or change for its own sake — it’s about looking at problems with fresh eyes, simplifying complexity, and building practical solutions that people genuinely find easier to use.

Examples

Re-Thinking in practice.

SpeedWise

Speedometers tell you how fast you’re going, not what that means for the road ahead. SpeedWise began by questioning that assumption — not by inventing new technology, but by rethinking what a driver actually needs to know.

Time Re-Invented

Clocks tell us the time, but not always the thing we actually want to know. Time Re-Invented explores a different way of visualising and thinking about time itself.

Working on something that needs a fresh perspective?

I like collaborating with peers, founders and investors who are questioning their own assumptions.
